Grab the Queen Power asks women to take up tiaras and scepters with the intention of reclaiming their personal power. Yes, it is good to be a Queen. The Queen archetype represents nothing less than reaching one’s highest potential. Understanding and embracing this Monarch archetype is a means (roadmap) for women to regain inner strength and power.

Why Did I Write Queen Power? As I began to evaluate my life, I wanted to learn why women hand over their voice, mind and body to someone else’s dream. I talked to many women, seeking to uncover the messages that muffled us, and bound us to a life in which we lost ourselves. I wrote this for my daughter. I don’t want her to ever take up the mask. I don’t want her to “disguise” her true identity in order to fit into a prescribed cultural niche. I want her to come out of the shadows. I want her voice to be heard. I have one more reason. When we join our voices, when we own our lives, we heal. I offer this book for healing; for the women who speak on these pages, for the culture we live in, for my daughter, and for me.

Allyn is actively seeking interviews of females ages 8 to 20 for her next project tentatively called: Beyond Ophelia.

Additionally, Allyn welcomes invitations to speak to adolescent girls, Parent/Teacher Association groups, nonprofit groups.
